Selmor Loses Shows After Fake Agents Sabotage Musician By Charging Exorbitant Fees

Late national hero and music icon Oliver Mtukudzi’s daughter, Selmor Mtukudzi, is reported to have fallen victim to bogus agents purporting to be her management which has seen her losing slots at some big shows.

It is reported that there have been people masquerading to be Selmors management team who have been engaging and charging clients exorbitant fees for shows.

The songstress announced the news on social media early this week were she informed the public about the scam and provided legitimate contact details of her management.

”It has come to my attention that there are people misrepresenting me as my management.
”They are quoting clients ridiculously high prices claiming that i what I am charging,” she announced in a social media post.

Speaking with the H-Metro, Selmor’s spokesperson Reginald Chapfunga said the crooks were charging exorbitant prices from what they usually charge.

So far we have confirmed that we lost five events, but we are sure they are more than that,” said Chapfunga.
” These crooks go to the event planners and they will claim that they work for a certain artist like Selmor.

” If they get the deal, they will then come back to the artiste and tell him or her that we are asking you to perform at this event, offering you this much.

This is happening to a lot of artists in the entertainment industry and a lot of them have not yet noticed it which might affect their relations with their fans and promoters.
