Chipinge Man, Who Won 3 Cars Last Year, Wins Again At OK Grand Challenge 2019

A CHIPINGE man of “extraordinary luck” has dismissed accusations he uses black magic to win prizes after he won a car at the 2019 OK Grand Challenge which came to an end over the weekend.

Clemence Muhle, who last year baffled the nation after a bizarre feat in which he won three cars in the 2018 Grand Challenge, won just one car this year…. plus a cool a $50 000 cash prize sponsored by Delta Beverages.

But still, four cars in two consecutive years of Grand Challenge is more than enough to get questions like: “Are you using muthi (magic)?”

Muhle, who is from Chipinge but runs businesses in Rusape, says he does not use magic to scoop prizes, as he says he is a devoted Christian.

In an interview with a local publication, H-Metro, Muhle who is physiotherapist by profession said: “It always feels good to win in a draw at such a big competition. I entered the draw for my eldest son Lazarus Muhle, who is studying medicine in Zambia.

“My children are a blessing from God, and they are the ones who always better my chances in each competition.

“As I said before, I am a Christian and my values hold me against using juju. I have never used it to win in this competition.

“I also had a setback this year because I entered into a few participating brands due to the prevailing economic conditions.

“I had my eyes on the grand prize, but it didn’t happen. I won’t stop and will return next year. If it is written, God will allow me to lay my hands on the grand prize next year.”
