The government has promised weary Zimbabweans that starting tomorrow (Tuesday), the electricity load shedding programme will improve.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, George Guvamatanga said that the power crisis will improve starting Tuesday.
Zimbabwe has been experiencing a power crisis which has resulted in most homes and businesses experiencing up to 18 hours a day with no electricity.
Speaking at a post-budget review seminar on Monday, Guvamatanga said,
Government to start gradually phasing out load shedding from tomorrow (Tuesday) after the successful agreements with regional power suppliers. 400MW will be imported from a regional power supplier after a weekly power payment arrangement was secured with Treasury.
