AFRO-JAZZ musician Kudakwashe Musarurwa (known as Prince) has died, Zimbabwe Voice can report.
He was 31.
Musarurwa died Saturday in Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital after a long and hard-fought battle against lung cancer.
Prince, who was a relative to musician Pah Chihera, shot to fame in 2013 after featuring on Pah Chihera’s hit song Runonzi Rudo.
Before he completed his musical studies at the Zimbabwe College of Music in 2011, Prince had attended high school at Churchill in Harare.
His well-known album titled Gogodera had songs which received fair airplay in 2013 and 2014.
