‘God is going to shake Zimbabwe’, these are the words of Prophet Ian Ndlovu, leader of Divine Kingdom Ministries.
These words likely reflect on planned massive protests to be held on 31 July to force Mnangagwa to address Zimbabwe’s economic woes.
“There are a lot of wrong things which have been done which are positioning us for these shaking I am talking about,
“I was saying God we don’t want chaos and God says I hear your prayer but still I am going to shake your country… so that things that should remain must remain and those that must go should fall away”.
There has been much hype going on social media concerning 31 July protests with Nelson Chamisa, MDC Alliance leader having endorsed, 2018 presidential hopeful Nkosana Moyo, ex ZANU PF minister, Jonathan Moyo and other notable figures promising to join the protests to force Mnangagwa out of office.
Nurses are already engaged in protests regarding poor salaries despite government already having increased it by 50% as well as a US$75 incentive.
Nurses have downed tools across the country and demonstrations taking place will set precedence to more confrontation as people grapple with hunger, worsened by Covid-19 effects.
