Embattled Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s ex-wife, Mary Mubaiwa who is facing assault charges was forced to attend court in an ambulance after an arrest warrant was issued against her, Harare Live has learnt.
Embroiled in a divorce matter coupled with other charges ranging from murder and, in this case, assaulting a handmaid,
Mubaiwa had to come to court and prove her ‘sick’ position after the judge issued an arrest warrant for failing to attend court.
Her lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa earlier in September excused the once, luxuriant Mubaiwa from attending court, citing her ailment which clearly has taken a toll on her.
Medical personnel were seen carrying the frail Mubaiwa on a stretcher bed.
