Chiwenga, Mohadi, Tagwirei battling covid-19: report:-Zimbabwe’s praesidium has been invaded by the coronavirus with reports that both Vice Presidents Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi are battling the deadly disease.
The Zimbabwe Independent reports that President Emmerson Mnangagwa spent 14 days in self-isolation in Harare after his close security details, cabinet ministers and top bureaucrats tested positive.

The country was left on autopilot without an acting president hence President Mnangagwa was forced to cut short his annual leave.
VP Mohadi and Chiwenga were conspicuous with their absence at the National heroes acre for the burials of the late Manicaland Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Dr Ellen Gwaradzimba and the late Zanu PF Central Committee member Cde Morton Dizzy Paul Malianga which was presided by President Mnangagwa, Harare Live noted.

Zimbabwe Independent alleges that Mnangagwa’s co-deputies are ill. Top businessman and residential advisor, Kuda Tagwirei, is also battling the deadly virus.
Mohadi acted as the acting president before disappearing from the public scene as he was taken ill. It was not immediately clear if Chiwenga was hospitalised or was recuperating from home by the time of publishing.
Zimbabwe is under the grip of the second wave of covid-19 which has seen the demise of top government officials including origin Affairs minister Sibusiso Moyo who succumbed to the disease and has since been declared National hero.-More: Zimbabwe Independent
