Multi-award-winning contemporary musician Jah Prayzah, real name Mukudzei Mukombe has mourned his uncle Tendai Savanhu who succumbed to Covid-19 on Sunday.
Former deputy Minister of Lands and Rural Resettlement Tendai Savanhu was brother to Jah Prayzh’s mother, Shirley Savanhu.
His death was confirmed on Sunday evening by exiled former Zanu PF Politburo member and minister Saviour Kasukuwere and National Patriotic Front (NPF) spokesperson, Jealousy Mawarire on microblogging site, Twitter,
Taking to social media, Jah Prayzah remembered his uncle by posting a video of them together sharing the stage at one of his shows.
Zimbabwe contemporary musician Jah Prayzah also penned a heartfelt to his uncle. In his eulogy, Jah Prayzah described his uncle Tendai Savanhu as a unifier who brought people together.
