SAD: Top Ex-Pirates Star Is Very Sick, Loses Weight

Shocking images showing a frail-looking Tendai Ndoro has sparked health concerns over the former Orlando Pirates striker.

Ndoro has been training with second-tier league club Simba Bhora, owned by a family relative Simba Ndoro.

Shocking images have now emerged of the former Pirates star with reports of a mystery illness as the cause for the striker’s weight loss.

“I am related to Tendai, we are both Ndoros, so he is with the team as he continues to recover from an ailment,” says Simba Ndoro talking to Zimbabwean newspaper The Herald.

“Tendai is in camp as I felt he needed a place where he could recuperate as he has not been feeling well of late.

“In camp, he can have peace of mind and, as a team, we have a team doctor, who is helping to assess him.

“Tendai is an experienced player, who when fully fit, every team will want him on board, so we can’t rule out chances of having him, on our books.

“He has a lot of experience and, if he has fully recovered, we will start from there but, right now, we are just assisting him, as one of us,” Simba Ndoro is quoted as saying.

Ndoro (36) featured for teams such as Mpumalanga Black Aces, Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town, and Highlands Park through his time in the PSL.

He last did duty in the PSL for Highlands Park making his last appearance against Kaizer Chiefs in January last year when he played the opening 45 minutes before being pulled out.

In May last year, The Lions of the North then announced the departure of the Zimbabwean forward who hasn’t been heard of in football circles since.

During his prime, Ndoro was a popular figure on social media but has since disappeared off of all social media platforms.
