Five people were burnt beyond recognition in a road accident along Masvingo-Mbalabala highway.

The accident occurred when a Toyota Mark X traveling from Masvingo collided with a Toyota Corrolla which was coming from the opposite direction.

This comes after two people were killed while three others were injured when a Honda Fit they were travelling in collided with a train yesterday.

The accident happened along Chiremba Road in Hillside area, Harare.

On the same day again, it was also reported that eight people died while 11 others were injured in a horrific accident involving a haulage truck and a commuter omnibus in Bulawayo.

The accident occurred at the traffic light intersection at Nkulumane Shopping Complex at around 5 am. The haulage truck was travelling from Nkulumane while the omnibus was heading to the Bulawayo central business district, coming from Pumula South.
