You will need information about your driver’s license, your vehicle and any other cars you’d like to insure.

The first step in getting metromile car insurance is to provide your driver’s license number. Metromile will then ask you to submit information about the make and model of each car that you want to insure, as well as its year of manufacture and odometer reading. This data helps them determine the risk rating for each vehicle (and thus how much they will charge based on that risk).
