Flamboyant prophet and social media enthusiast Passion Java finally fulfilled a promise he made after being exposed.
iHarare recently reported that Java had failed to fulfil the promise he made to pay fees for Dhedhwa Mpako from Mbare. Passion Java promised to pay school fees for Mpako until he completes his Grade Seven studies.
Mpako went viral after he made a video claiming Java was one of the richest people in Zimbabwe. As a result, Java pledged to give the young man a scholarship.
Mpako’s uncle Stanley Kavayi told H-Metro that Java was yet to honour his promise to pay for the child’s school fees. Kavayi said:
Ngedwa is a kid who pays attention to everything that is trending, he once had a video that went viral claiming that Passion Java is one of the richest people in Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, he did not receive the offered scholarship.
He also set the record straight saying that while the community thinks that Java was paying the child’s school fees it was the boy’s mother that was doing so. Stanley said:
In our community, people think that Java is paying the kid’s fees but it’s not true. His mother, who is a vegetable vendor, pays for everything, not Java.
Passion Java finally fulfilled his promise to Mapako and donated some cash on Tuesday in Mbare. He also spent some time with Dhedhwa Mpako in Mbare. After handing over an unspecified amount to Mpako, Passion Java took to Instagram where he announced that he had paid school fees for the next six years. He captioned a video:
Just paid his school fees for the next 6 years netumwe tumwe pamusoro..
iHarare is yet to confirm Java’s claim that he paid Mpako’s school fees for the next six years.
