COPS INVESTIGATES ZANU PF NYATSIME SUICIDE

Two senior Zanu PF officials were found dead in the Nyatsime neighborhood of Chitungwiza, and the Zimbabwe Republic Police has opened an investigation into their deaths.

One of the men was allegedly poisoned, while the other allegedly died from a stress-related illness after his house was recently burned down by CCC supporters who were outraged over the murder of a woman by a violent ex-boyfriend who is currently in custody.

The two officials are Cde George Murambatsvina, the Zanu PF chairman for Nyatsime, whose house was set on fire by CCC supporters in Nyatsime about a fortnight ago, and Cde Tina Gweshe, the former Manyame district chairperson who is believed by family to have been poisoned after attending a party last week.

The brutal assault left Cde Murambatsvina with severe wounds and anguish.
