A man from Tsholotsho has sued his mother-in-law for seeing his manhood after she stormed into his bedroom where she found him completely naked with his wife in bed.
Isaac Mpofu from Tsholotsho Business Centre is accusing his widowed mother-in-law, Molin Sibanda of invading his privacy after she reportedly stormed into his bedroom and found him in his birthday suit.
Molin reportedly forced herself into Mpofu’s bedroom to “rescue” her daughter who had allegedly eloped to him.
It is reported that in a protest like fashion, Molin, who apparently couldn’t come to terms with Mpofu’s marriage to her daughter, stormed into his bedroom complaining that he was not good enough for her.
While inside the bedroom, Molin reportedly caused drama when she started harassing and teasing Mpofu who was reportedly naked. In the process Molin reportedly forcibly took her daughter away
A devastated Mpofu later approached Tsholotsho Civil Court demanding US$1 000 from Molin, claiming it was compensation for the humiliation he suffered when she stormed into his bedroom while he was naked.
He said his wife also decided to leave him because ‘she can’t live with somebody’ who is not liked by her mother.
“I hereby claim US$1 000 from the defendant (Molin Sibanda).
This was after she forced herself into my bedroom where she found me and my wife completely naked. She then stared at me before she shoved and started shouting at me saying I was abusing her daughter.
“As a result of her behaviour I felt embarrassed and I am claiming US$1 000 as damages for the humiliation I suffered as a result of her conduct,” read Mpofu’s suit.
He insisted that it was a ‘shameful act’ performed by Molin by forcibly entering his bedroom while he was naked in bed with his wife.
Molin’s response is expected to be heard when the parties appear in court.
