A desperate South African man is trending on social media after he did the unthinkable and reached out to his lover in a Twitter post during SABC 1’s Last Dance 2022 live music festival.

The man who uses the Twitter handle @Alonso_GQ pleaded with his lover only identified as Nwabisa to unblock him. Alonso who was in the Eastern Cape on New Year’s Eve blamed the network for the supposed unavailability on social media and lack of communication.
