Police woman appears in court over leaked video

On Monday, an appearance was made in the Siyabuswa Magistrate’s Court by a female police officer who is charged with the [email protected] of her son, who is 10 years old.

It is alleged that the 40-year-old South African Police Service policeman s_exually abused the victim’s kid.

Shock waves have been felt across the neighborhood as a result of a video of the occurrence that has gained widespread attention on social media.

According to the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid), the woman was working as a police officer at the Groblersdal South African Police Service (SAPS) in the province of Limpopo. She was accused of s_exual grooming of a child as well as creating and distributing child pornographic material. These are some of the additional charges she faced.

Ipid Spokesperson Lizzy Suping stated that the case would be rescheduled on February 6 so that a possible bail application can be made at that time.

“The application for bail will be opposed by Ipid.”

The event has been sharply denounced by Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe, who serves as the provincial commissioner of police in Limpopo. He has expressed amazement at the occurrence.

The behavior of this woman is appalling, and she should be held accountable for her acts.

“Despite the fact that the suspect is claimed to have committed this offense while she was still working for the SAPS under the Public Service Act, she should have been aware that such unbecoming behavior merited severe penalties and she should have known better.”

He remarked, “The South African Police Service does not have the place for such persons who ruin its image.”

According to the police, the boy has been removed from the home and sent to a secure location where he will receive psychiatric care and help.
