Nelli was fighting from the grave: Ntsiki Mazwai slammed over AKA death comments

Over the last few days, social media has been set alight with posts pertaining to slain rapper AKA’s death. The 35-year-old was shot and killed outside Wish restaurant in Durban on 10 February last week. One of the millions who have commented on the murder is human rights activist Ntsiki Mazwai.

Her thoughts on the killing have resulted in her being shunned by social media users who have compared her to controversial music executive Nota Baloyi.

NTSIKI MAZWAI SLAMMED FOR THOUGHTS ON AKA’S DEATH

Ntsiki Mazwai has never been one to hold her tongue. The controversial poet has found herself in hot water a number of times but continues to share her thoughts and opinions on public platforms.

Just recently Ntsiki ruffled some feather after sharing her thoughts on the passing of AKA.

Taking to her Twitter page on Wednesday this week, Mazwai wrote that AKA’s death comes as a result of his late fiancee Nelli Tembe “fighting from her grave”.

She also added that Nelli – who died after allegedly jumping from a Cape Town hotel window – had to fight for herself because people sucked up to celebs.

This implies that AKA wasn’t investigated enough because of his celebrity status.

“Neli had to fight her battle from the grave because South Africans grovel for celebs…..but asikholapho,” wrote Ntsiki.

MZANSI SHUNS HER INSENSITIVITY

The post did not sit well with Supamega’s grieving fans who quickly compared her to Nota Baloyi – another sharp-tongued Twitter enthusiast.

“I honestly can’t understand why you struggle with sympathy and empathy. You revel in other people’s pain and misfortune, why? You have an evil heart!”

While @mulaloroy said:

“You and Nota are the same.
