New Actor Brings Flames To Scandal!
A new actor is bringing flames to e.tv show Scandal! playing the role of a tsotsi who means business and fights for everything he wants.
Pablo has been causing drama since his debut on the show.
Speaking to SunBuzz, actor Otto Nobela (29) from Atteridgeville in Tshwane, said this is his first soapie character and it’s something he’s not used to.
“I accepted the challenge fully and I loved that I could speak my language, Xitsonga. Pablo is an old friend of Nhlamulo and Mdala,” Otto said.
“By now, we know that he’s associated with trouble. So, just know tables are about to turn whenever he appears.”
Otto has starred in several theatre productions and films before making his debut on Scandal!.

“I did SABC2’s Bantu Hour. That was my first TV appearance. Then I did Matwetwe, Isono, Surviving Gaza, and Letters of Hope. So, I’m quite excited to be on Scandal!,” said the actor.
Otto is also a teacher at Puo Media, a school at the South African State Theatre.
“We teach acting there and I’m the drama facilitator. The reason I went into teaching is because I’ve always wanted to be something I never had while growing up in the industry.
“Once people get big, they forget about where they come from,” said Otto.
