According to a local publication, Vusi Ma R5’s dancer is in intensive care after allegedly being poisoned. Chantel Serakalala, also known as Roxy, is a dancer who hails from Pretoria and has made significant contributions to the Bacardi brand.

Habiba Makgatho, who worked with Roxy at Tjovitjo Entertainment, issued a statement on social media. According to the content creator and social media manager:
“It’s with great sadness to inform you that Chantel, better known as Roxy, is in a critical condition. It’s very bad and we’re in need of prayers. Your prayers and support will be very much appreciated. She is an MC and dancer who showed support to the Barcadi nation.”
A source close to Vusi Ma R5’s dancre informed the blog that Roxy is currently at the Dr. George Mukhari Academic Hospital in Ga-Rankuwa, Tshwane.
“She was admitted to the hospital on Thursday due to alcohol poisoning and is battling for her life in the Intensive Care Unit,” the source was quoted as saying. “I don’t remember her telling me about having enemies. She was a very good person and kind. It’s painful to hear that she was poisoned,” it added.
Vusi’s death is still under investigation by the police, “According to reports, the victim was sitting with his friends outside a tavern at ext13 in Soshanguve when he went across the road to the car. The others allegedly heard gunshots and when they went to investigate found the victim lying on the ground,” said Police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello in a statement to TshisaLIVE.
“The police request anyone who may have information about this incident to contact their police station or report on the Crime Stop Line at 08600 10111,” she continued.
