Here Is AKA’s Last Whatsapp Message With Nadia Nakai

Rapper Nadia Nakai has shared the last WhatsApp message that she shared with her late boyfriend AKA on her social media.

The “Naaa Mean” singer shared her last conversation with the late AKA, real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, on her Instagram Story on Monday, 13, March.

The South African rapper was shot and killed outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road, Durban, on the 10th of February 2022, in what has been confirmed by the South African Police Services (SAPS) as an assassination.

His long-time friend and former manager, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, was also killed during the shooting incident.

Posting on her Instagram Story, Nadia posted a picture of AKA and captioned it,

“I’m going to miss the FaceTimes, calls and texts,” she wrote.”

She also shared a screenshot of the last WhatsApp messages that she shared with AKA on the fateful night and captioned the screenshot.

“The fact that these messages were never delivered because you were gone.”

Here Is AKA’s Last Whatsapp Message With Nadia Nakai

The day after AKA’s funeral, Nadia broke her silence by taking to Instagram to post her very first tribute to her former lover.

In the post, Nadia expressed her heartbreak over AKA’s passing and how difficult it has been for her to imagine going on without him.

She wrote,

“My Heart is shattered, this is not what our future was meant to look like. I can’t believe I said my final goodbye to you yesterday. I’ll never see you again for the rest of my lifetime? You loved me loud and proud, thank you baby. Protected me, Prayed for me, inspired me. I find it hard to breath let alone find the words to explain how much I love you. I’m really going to miss all the special moments we’ve had. This really hurts! I can’t come to terms with the fact that I’ll never hear you say you love me, I’ll never hear your laugh.
We had plans.

“There is no pain bigger than the pain of losing you. I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with you, I realise you’re the one who spent the rest of your life with me. I don’t know why things happen the way they do, but I’m questioning God right now. Why would he bring us together to only take you away. I just don’t understand. I don’t know how I’m going to do this, going on with my life without you, I just can’t.
