AKA Bags Six Metro Awards Nominations From The Grave
The late South African rapper AKA has posthumously bagged 6 award nominations at Metro FM Music Awards.
AKA, real name, Kiernan Forbes was shot and killed on the 10th of February this year.
The late rapper has bagged nominations in multiple categories for Lemons (Lemonade), including Song and Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Hip Hop Artist, Best Male Artist, and Best Music Video.
He is leading the nominees list alongside Sjava who also bagged 6 nominations.
The Metro FM Music Awards ceremony are slated to take place on the 6th of May 2023 at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga.
Taking to Instagram, Nadia Nakai congratulated her late boyfriend AKA for bagging 6 nominations at the Metro Awards. She quoted AKA’s lyrics from his hit song ‘Army’ off his latest album Mass Country

The Megacy Rallies Behind AKA After He Bags 6 Nominations At Metro FM Music Awards 2023
AKA’s fans are happy that Kiernan bagged 6 nominations and that he is getting all the recognition that he deserves even in death.
AKA’s legions of fans, the Megacy are, however, sad that their favourite rapper is not alive to witness all of this.
After the nomination list was released, the Megacy took to social media to celebrate and rally behind AKA.
The Megacy has vowed to vote for AKA and ensure that he scoops all the awards.
