An alleged leaked audio recording between Dr Nandipha Magodumana and Thabo Bester was shared on Twitter on Friday, 14 April morning leaving many questions about whether she was a willing accomplice in the whole saga.

‘WAS DR NANDIPHA THREATENED?’

The audio leaked on Twitter by @NowInSA is reportedly between the Facebook rapist Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magodumana.

In the audio, Bester is heard threatening Nandipha’s husband and children and says he’ll kill her if she disobeys him again and that he runs the house.

Thabo Bester: “I am driving to Johannesburg tonight, when I get there if I call you and you don’t f*cken pick up the phone, uzosola impilo yakho,” (you’ll regret it with your life).

Nandipha: “Angi understand why you’re saying this Thabo, why are you threatening me”?

Thabo: “I don’t care if you understand or don’t understand. You’re doing your own things.”

THABO BESTER HAS NO IDENTIFICATION

News24 reports that SA police say Dr Nandipha Magodumana’s lover Thabo Bester doesn’t have an ID but is positive that he is a South African national.

National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola told members of Parliament’s Justice and Correctional Services Portfolio Committee on Thursday, 13 April that the police identified Bester by his fingerprints and past crimes he committed in the country.

He added that the police received Bester’s fingerprints from Tanzanian authorities when they arrested him and also verified his identity independently.

It is believed the Facebook rapist shared identity with two other Thabo Besters who have IDs.

Gratitude Magwanishe said: “This person does not have an identity document, so the criminal records were the only way to confirm it is indeed Bester.

“He is a South African. The person who served at the Mangaung Correctional Services Centre is the same person the Tanzanians arrested. When he arrived here, we also ran fingerprints. He is a South African. He is Thabo Bester.”
