P Square’s Mr P Slams Those Supporting Hakimi in his Divorce Drama: “Marry Your Mothers Instead”
Peter Okoye, a well-known singer from Nigeria and member of the P-square music group, has commented on the divorce drama involving PSG defender Achraf Hakimi.
The millionaire footballer’s Friday divorce from his wife Hiba Abouk was widely reported on social media.
According to reports, the PSG star’s wife demanded half of his wealth when she filed for divorce but was told that Hakimi had none because all of his properties were bought in his mother’s name.
Many social media users—mostly men—praised the Moroccan in response, stating that it was the right move.
Peter Okoye, better known by his stage name Mr. P, responded to their claim on Twitter, saying they should have wed their mothers instead.
He wrote, “Like I don’t get it. The truth is bitter but needs to be told. If you don’t trust her, then don’t marry as simple as that. Or are you expecting your wife to suffer after a divorce?
“Remember! The one you trusted with all your property in the name of Mother was once your father’s wife. #HakimiDivorce.
“The mother u are clamoring about was/is also somebody’s wife at some point, before she became his mother. What if she was treated the same way? Pls Marry your Mother! EOS.
