Zimbabwean promoter and Changamire Awards founder Jackson “Zimboy” Muchechetere has clapped back at rapper Nadia Nakai, accusing her of wasting time doing makeup for two hours.
Last week, Nadia Nakai launched a spirited attack on Jackson for being unprofessional. The Changamire Festival Awards invited the rapper as a special guest.

However, she was left high and dry after Jackson reportedly failed to pay her. Nadia went on her Instagram account to air her disgruntlement, advising her followers and industry colleagues never to work with him and labelling him a con artist.
She ranted:
“@jacksondezimboy is a con artist! Don’t work with him. Ever! And that’s on peerrriod! What he’s put me through! Hai never again! The amount of DMs I’ve got since my post telling me how much of a scammer he is! Like wow, bro!”
Jackson Zimboy Responds
Jackson Zimboy has responded to the drama between him and Nadia Nakai, accusing the Naaa Meaan hitmaker of being unprofessional.
Speaking on The Danny J Show, he clapped back:
“She started having makeup. So her makeup lasted from 9 pm till past 11 pm. And I was just seated there in the lobby. And we waited and waited. I know everyone doesn’t know about all of this because I have not been given a platform to really say my side of the story.
“So it’s past 11, right? Now we are going to the awards. It didn’t make sense, of course, that I make them do the awards and end them before me and Nadia come in. It was not gonna be fair for people who had paid to see Nadia Nakai. So I made them delay for us. Then we finally went to the Changamire Awards.”
Jackson grumbled that Nadia Nakai refused to walk on the red carpet and pose for photos on the backdrop banner of the sponsors who had funded the award show.
