Dr Nandipha’s testimony helped free his father… Will she throw Bester under the bus?

Sunday World reports that Dr. Nandipha Magudumana’s cooperation with the investigators, as well as the National Prosecuting Authorities (NPA), helped her father, Zolile Cornelius Sekeleni, get granted bail as well as get exonerated from all charges against him. Charges against him were dropped after he appeared in the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court this month.

At first they were accused of helping convicted killer and Facebook rapist Thabo Bester escape from Mangaung Correctional Centre. But, Nandipha reportedly told the investigators that this theory is “unconvincing and far-fetched.”

Nandipha is currently held at the where investigators interrogated her. During the investigation, Sunday World reports that she ‘sang like a canary’ and said, “In no time, Magudamana began to sing like a canary telling us to ‘keep my dad out of it all; he knows nothing about it and of it;  just the thought that he could be involved in crime is both unconvincing and far-fetched’. She said that with a straight face.”

Nandipha also apparently said the whole escape was planned out between her and the G4S security company prison officials.

“This is the reason why Zolile (Nandipha’s father) was given bail and had his murder charge dropped. Nandipha told us that she was working with Bester and guards at Mangaung prison for her boyfriend’s daring escape,” the source was quoted by the publication.

Additionally, Nandipha will also allegedly give out information about their domestic workers but only after the investigators have interrogated Bester.

In other Bester and Nandipha news, Dr Mmereka Patience Martha Ntshani, AKA Dr Pashy has opened a case against them at the Sandton Police Station. This comes after the pair were found with her personal documents at the time of their arrest. She opened a case of fraud, theft, forgery and uttering.

Distancing herself from this escape, Pashy said in an affidavit:

“I planned to go to the USA & work on my company-Power Women International…..” wrote Silindelo Masikane, eNCA

“Now they are South Africa’s wanted criminals and are hiding somewhere with my passport and a copy of my fingerprints. I’m writing this to prevent any fraud that might be committed in my name.” added the eNCA journalist.

#ThaboBester Dr. Pashy continues.. “Prior to that Mr ‘TK Nkwana’ asked for my documents, fingerprints & IDs & police clearance certificate so that they can for me a working citizenship. I went to the police station to do the clearance & fingerprints for citizenship in the USA.”
