A viral video of a Beitbridge woman getting savagely beaten by her husband at a local lodge has attracted social media attention as more details emerge.
Recently, the couple had a wedding and portrayed a happy family, however, things went south when he discovered that she was having an illicit affair, AGAIN!
Tinashe Kandawasvika, a clearing agent in the border town, is the man responsible for the violent assault.
Beitbridge Woman Cheated On Her Husband Before
The couple, Tinashe and Primrose Kandawasvika had been together for about a decade before the incident. However, according to sources, this was not the first time Primrose had been caught cheating.
In December of the previous year, she was found to be having an affair.
Although Tinashe forgave her, he was later tipped off by friends that Primrose was meeting her lover at a lodge. Tinashe and a friend brutally attacked both Primrose’s lover and Primrose herself.
Couple Was In The Process Of Divorcing Before Viral Video
The couple, who had three children, were already in the process of separating after Tinashe was accused of having an extra-marital affair. An urgent family meeting was held at their home, during which they mutually agreed to pursue their divorce to avoid further emotional damage.
“The situation is tense right now, both Tinashe and Primrose’s relatives were called in on Monday and they had a long meeting that lasted deep into the night. The couple has decided to divorce each to avoid further emotional damage,” the source told H-Metro.
The video of Tinashe assaulting his wife like he was in a boxing match has sparked outrage, with many Zimbabweans calling for his imprisonment.
They consider his actions to be monstrous and feel that he should not have treated another human being like that, regardless of the emotional circumstances.
