Buju Banton’s Message to Zimbabwean Fans: The Truth Behind the Fake Concert Rumours

On Thursday, Hopewell Chin’ono, an accomplished Zimbabwean journalist, took to his official Twitter account to share some disheartening news.

The news was about Buju Banton, a renowned singer, and songwriter. Chin’ono revealed that he had a conversation with Buju Banton, who confirmed that he will not be performing in Zimbabwe as expected.

According to Chin’ono, the poster that has been circulating on social media, claiming that Buju Banton, Beres Hammond, and Wayne Wonder will perform in Zimbabwe on May 24th is entirely false. He labelled it as fake and warned Zimbabweans not to fall prey to the scam.

In his own words, Chin’ono said, “I have spoken to the great Buju Banton, and he told me that the poster doing rounds on social media in Zimbabwe saying that he is performing with Beres Hammond and Wayne Wonder on the 24th of May is FAKE. He said he is not coming to Zimbabwe in May. So don’t be fooled my people!”
