Makhadzi Life In Danger after quitting Open Mic: Here is why
Popular dancer and singer Makhadzi’s life is at risk according to new information gathered by this publication after she decided not to renew her contract with Open Mic Productions.
Makhadzi recently decided to quit the record label after serving his three-year contract and unpaid four albums a move, that clearly Open Mic are not keen on accepting.
Instead, they sent Makhadzi with another auto-renewed contract without her consent.
The hitmaker decided to air out her frustration against Open Mic executives whom she has disassociated from.
“All I wanted was to do my things in peace, that’s why I dropped my statement last week without pointing any fingers. Now they are disputing my statement, they are saying my contract is auto-renewable. My question is how possible is it that you sign me and not give me my copy of contract (sic)?” tweeted the singer.
Makhadzi landed on the Twitter trends list as tweeps discussed her situation.
“How possible is that for you to renew my contract without coming to me? What if I am not happy working with you? Must I continue working when I am not happy? I served my contract, I don’t want to work with them any more,” said Makhadzi.
Why Makhadzi’s Life In Danger?
Following all these revelations openly told on social media, it has come to our attention that Open Mic Productions runs their stable like thugs while enslaving their signed artists.
Another artist, Paige, opened up after hearing about Makhadzi’s predicament revealing how she got fleeced of all her earnings from album sales.
Paige says the record label duped her and threatened her life and her management.

What Makhadziis going through, is exactly the same thing am currently going through. From millions of streams, I have never received any benefit or a penny from those millions of streams. I remember signing a contract which was 3 pages. Soon after signing the contract, I requested a copy and was promised to get one in no time when I get home in 2021. The copy wasnt sent to me as promised and throughtout the year of 2021,with my team and manager, we kept on requesting a copy of the contract and Open Mic couldnt send it until july 2022,to my surprise, when a 3 page contract I signed came back as a 17 page contract with my initials and signature on each and every page. The initials and signature was forged on all those pages,we then requested to come and see the original copy of this 17 page contract and stories came up and all of a sudden they don’t have the original document ,so out of fear, we decided to keep quiet because there were threats on my life and that of my management and team. Well, I just put my trust that God will answer my prayers one day, nothing trumps faith, God will be my soldier and protector.In the mean time we move and make music
It seems Makhadzi is really in for it and risks losing all if she does not get a good lawyer.
