Khanyi Mbau reveals why her gin brand is no longer available in SOuth Africa or anywhere else in the world a few years after its launch.
In 2013, the actress launched into the gin business which was named, I Am Khanyi Mbau Millennial Shimmer Gin.
Years after establishing the venture, it’s suddenly gone off the radar and nothing is heard about the brand anymore.
Speaking about the gin brand on Young, Famous and African reality series, the TV personality who was seen making her own gin like an expert explained to the other cast of the reality series that she’s knowledgeable about making gin as she once had her own brand, but pandemic made her close down.
During the lockdown, one of the rules was “no booze” which affected lots of alcoholic companies including that of Khanyi, hence she had to dissolve the brand.
