Bonang Matheba and Khanyi Mbau have made it obvious that they are not close friends. The Young, Famous, and Black star has now launched another attack on the newcomer to the programme.

The actress criticises the media personality in a post-production interview, saying she “does not trust” her.

Since season two of the Netflix reality series premiered on Friday, May 19, Khanyi and the rest of the cast have been trending on social media.

KHANYI MBAU SAYS SHE DOESN’T TRUST BONANG

After giving Bonang a frosty welcome, and later claiming that she was B’s equal, Khanyi Mbau took another jab at her industry colleague.

In an interview filmed post-production of Young, Famous, and African, the socialite is asked what she thinks of the media mogul.

Khanyi said: “I don’t trust her because I’ve never worked with her in a group situation…she’s not someone I personally know”.

Khanyi then went on to insinuate that Bonang left because she was not the “star” of the show.

She said: “The Bonang that we all think we know would never do a project like this. This is not her style. And when she left, I expected it.

“It’s a group effort that allows everyone to shine through each other.

Khanyi also clapped back at claims she “ganged up” on Bonang. She added: “Nobody spoke to her. Maybe the silence was too loud”.

Meanwhile, Khanyi Mbau has clapped back at producers for their editing of scenes and portraying her as a “villain.”

She shared in an Instagram post: “The editors are messy and very spicey.. [they]  made me the villain AGAIN! Editing out pivotal moments that give clarity and deleting real scenes that shared the visuals of my real world, e.g., our children

She added: “The cuts and pastes of the scenes and the order is completely wrong and made to fit a certain narrative.

Khanyi claimed she was speaking out, as she “let things slide last season.”

She also added that her health had taken a dip during filming.

She continued: “Filming was incredibly hard. I watched the show with one eye open. It was painful. I saw the bad state I was in. I struggled with my speech most of the time and had zoned out 90% of the time”.

Zoe said they were moved enough to record their own version of “It’s OK,” which – to their surprise — prompted a response from Nightbirde, who “responded so beautifully.” The anthem then became a “pillar of strength” as the choir continued through their own difficult times. “We just want to continue her legacy, and that’s why we chose this song,” said Zoe. But most visibly moved by the performance was Cowell, who said to those around him, “This brought back so many memories for me.” Audiences and Crews clapped as Cowell wrestled with his emotions.
