Watch: Uncanny Prison Escapee Caught Paying Bail For Fellow Criminal
Caleb Mashingaidze, a convict who escaped from Chikurubi Maximum Prison last year after serving only two weeks of a 27-month sentence for robbery was rearrested at the Harare magistrates court while paying bail for a ‘friend’ he met while in police cells.
Mashingaidze, who claimed his real name was Tawanda Masunda, was serving a sentence for robbery when he escaped from lawful custody.

He was nabbed on Friday on charges of extortion and impersonation for which he was granted $100 000 bail on Saturday.
