Christopher Mutonhori ‘Assassinated’ For Standing As An Independent Candidate

Disgruntled ZANU PF Gutu West Parliamentary candidate who was running as an independent against fellow party members died in a mysterious accident Thursday.

Christopher Mutonhori Rwodzi died in an accident at the 10km peg Chivhu Road

Mutonhori had formed his 4ED affiliate and called himself an independent candidate 4ED.

Mutonhori was vying for Gutu West Parliamentary seat and was barred from contesting in the primaries on allegations that he had some pending disciplinary case.

According to one of Saviour Kasukuwere’s henchmen, Never Maswerasei on Twitter, Rwodzi was likely assassinated.

Dear Independent Candidates: Limit your circle and always check your brake cables and wheel nuts before driving – yes it’s cumbersome but do it always. Do not disclose your travelling plans. Consider switching cars often if you have more than one. RIP Col Mutonhori Rwodzi.

Maswerasei goes on to say that he had given a warning earlier about impending killings as election time approaches.
