South African Actor On Life Support, Family Loses Hope On His Survival

A popular South African actor Bradley Olivier who is well-known for playing the role of Xavier in the Moja LOVE telenovela, Hope, now an actor on Binnelanders, is currently fighting for his life in hospital and his family confirms that recovery is no longer possible.

On Tuesday, false reports resurfaced that the 36-year-old actor had died. But his family cleared the rumours and confirmed that Bradley is ‘on life support’ after being admitted to the hospital on Monday evening.

“It is with profound sadness that we confirm that Bradley Olivier is currently on life support after being admitted on Monday evening,” the family said in a statement.

They added that he is receiving the best possible medical care and attention at Life Flora Hospital over the past two days.

“Despite their tireless efforts, it has become evident that he has reached a point where recovery is no longer possible.”

The family says they understand the interest in Bradley’s condition, but it is crucial to prioritise compassion and respect for the family’s wishes. They have asked to grieve in peace.

“We ask that you respect the family’s privacy during this immensely difficult time and allow us to grieve in peace. Bradley Olivier’s legacy will live on through his body of work, which has touched countless lives and will continue to inspire future generations. We kindly request that you celebrate his life by remembering the joy and happiness he brought to the world,’ the statement reads.

“As we navigate through this trying period, let us stand together as a community, offering support, compassion, and understanding to one another. Together, we can honour Bradley’s memory and the positive impact he has had on our lives,”.

His family wants to remember him for his remarkable talent, passion, and the positive influence he had on our lives. Bradley studied at the Tshwane University of Technology and bagged his first on-screen role in 2007.

He also acted on 7de Laan, High Rollers, 4Play Sex Tips for Girls, Rockville, Sokhulu and Partners, MTV Shuga Down South, Fathers Matter, and many others. Bradley started his production company Sturvey Pictures with actor and friend Solomon Cupido.
