Actor Bradley Olivier’s Death Leaves Fans Dejected

Bradley Terrance Olivier, a South African actor, passed away on Thursday, July 20, at the Life Flora Hospital in Johannesburg.

The actor who was popularly known for his role as paramedic “Danny Jantjies” on Binnelanders was placed on life support a week before his death. On Wednesday 19 July Bradley’s family took to Facebook to share a statement assuring fans that the actor had not died following reports and speculations that he had.

“It is with profound sadness that we confirm that Bradley Olivier is currently on life support after being admitted on Monday evening”, a family representative shared on Wednesday.

The family continued: “We kindly ask the media and the public to refrain from spreading speculation or engaging in sensationalism. We understand the interest in Bradley Olivier’s condition, but it is crucial to prioritize compassion and respect for the family’s wishes”.

Confirming news of the actor’s death just a day their initial statement the family shared he had passed away “peacefully” on Wednesday, 20 July.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bradley Terence Olivier. He died peacefully today 20 July 2023 at the Life Flora Hospital in Johannesburg. Although Bradley’s life ended before we were ready, the time that he spent in our lives was memorable and full of joy. Bradley lit up every room he entered with his smile, laugh and incredible personality”, the family shared in a statement.

The family has also expressed their gratitude to everyone who has supported them during this difficult time.

“We remember Bradley for his legacy and the impact he left in all our lives. Bradley will always be within our hearts and the many others that loved him. The family is grateful for all the support they have received during this trying time. Bradley touched so many lives, words cannot describe how much we will miss him”.

The cause of death is yet to be released.

According to IOL, the actor made his TV debut in 2007 on Villa Rosa, then starring in various productions including in the popular Afrikaans kykNET soapie Binnelanders, Moja Love’s Hope and SABC2’s 7de Laan among others.
