Former Supersports Star Kuda Mahachi Finally Finds A Home In Ghana

Former SuperSport United Football Club star Kudakwashe Mahachi has finally settled in Ghana after a long wait without a team.

Mahachi was sacked from SuperSport United at the end of the 2021/22 season after some family scandal.

The former senior men’s football player from Zimbabwe was recently charged with trying to kill his son leading to his sacking. Fortunately for Mahachi, the State was unable to establish the case’s fundamental facts, and the testimony of the witnesses was found to be inconsistent and contradictory by the court. As a result, he was ruled innocent.

He failed to gain a deal with a club during the January transfer window, despite his best efforts.

The gifted footballer had ties to many South African and Zimbabwean clubs.

Even rumours of his working out with Maritzburg United of the DStv Premiership, the team widely believed to be the front-runner to recruit him, were circulated.

Kuda Mahachi Signs For Ghanaian Club

The current league champions in Zimbabwe, Highlanders, were also said to be interested in signing him. After the star rejected them in January, the club strongly dismissed any such interest.

Chicken Inn Football Club, which won Zimbabwe’s top league title in 2015, was also interested in the free agent. However, according to recent sources, Kuda Mahachi won’t be joining the Game Cocks anytime soon.

Mahachi, his family, and his fans are all beaming thanks to a lovely turn of events. The winger has signed a one-year deal with a Ghanaian team.

According to a prominent Ghanaian sports journalist, Mahachi completed a transfer move to the Ghana premier league champions, Medeama SC, on a one-year renewable contract.

At the time of writing, neither Mahachi nor his agent, Gibson Mahachi, have made any official comments on the news.
