Zola 7 Claims He Rose From The Dead, Saw 2 Pac And Biggie In The Afterlife

In an interview with veteran radio host Tbo Touch on Metro FM’s The Touch Down programme on Wednesday, August 16, South African Kwaito star Zola 7—real name Bonginkosi Dlamini—claimed to have risen from the dead and seen what it is like on the other side after having survived a protracted battle with his deteriorating health.

In 2021, Zola 7 made headlines after he struggled to pay off his hospital bills following being diagnosed with a chronic disease a few years prior, SowetanLIVE reported. He was then interviewed on Podcast & Chill by podcaster Macgyver ‘Mac G’ Mukwevho and explained that he almost died.

“I was extremely sick, I was home and I was shaking. Everybody around me was scared I was going to die. I couldn’t eat well. I was eating Mageu porridge and fish,” Zola Z was quoted as saying.

Nowadays, the Lwandle hitmaker is forced to take medicine twice a day for the rest of his life.

ZOLA 7 ON THE AFTERLIFE EXPERIENCE

Zola 7 had an epileptic attack that landed him in a coma for several weeks and said he “almost kicked the bucket”, Zimoja reported.

“I rose from the dead. I almost didn’t make it. I almost kicked the bucket. But the medication is treating me well,” he was quoted as saying.

When he woke up in the hospital, Zola 7 said a doctor told him that he had a bone marrow of a 12-year-old. He claimed that he got a glimpse into the afterlife and saw slain American rappers 2PAC and Biggie smoking a joint together. He then explained that he was guided by his late grandmother who died about 20 years ago.

“You feel absolutely nothing, no pain,” he said.

“At that time, I’m mostly having a conversation with my grandmother who died in 1993 in February. She said ‘You need to go back’”, Zola 7 concluded.
