“Zvakwana Jah Prayzah”: Musician’s Old Tweet Unearthed Following Inauguration Embarrassment

Zimbabwe’s most loved musician Jah Prayzah became the talk of the town when he was publicly humiliated by an MC  at President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s inauguration on Monday.

Despite his thrilling performance that ignited the crowd and President Mnangagwa alike the interruption by the MC reminded Zimbabweans about a similar fate that late musician Soul Jah Love experienced in 2015.

After Soul Jah Love’s humiliation, Jah Prayzah wrote a tweet jesting about the incident and fans were quick to unearth the tweet which has gained popularity on social media.

At the time Jah Prayzah wrote,

Jah Prayzah Reacts To The Incident

Jah Prayzah has not issued an official response regarding the incident but has shared a cryptic message on X (formerly Twitter) amidst hit-backs from his detractors.

The message is in the form of an image of him on stage wearing a 2 Pac shirt labelled ‘Only God Can Judge Me’.
