“I have a second cancer attack”: Senator Khupe

The just sworn-in Citizens Coalition for Change Dr Thokozani Khupe has confirmed tat she is having a second cancer attack.

Following a report by this publication that Dr Khupe is in remission following images of her looking frail during the swearing-in ceremony held in Mt Hampden today, the politician cleared up the air. She said

I have a second cancer attack. I am doing well, and many thanks to those already wishing me well. Together we can beat cancer.

Dr Khupe recovered from breast cancer around 2011 and launched the Thokozani Khupe  Cancer Foundation to help other women and men deal with the deadly disease.

She lost one of her breasts during her ordeal and has been doing quit well for some time.

She even went on a campaign trail around the country in support of her party CCC, whose leader Nelson Chamisa lost the election to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Well Wishes To Dr Khupe During Her Cancer Battle

Following her disclosure, a number of his friends and supporters had comforting words to say. Fellow party representative Member of Parliament Gift Ostallos Siziba said in response to her X post;

You’re recovering well doc and we wish you a speedy one 🙏🏽

Wishing you well and good health Dr Khupe

Others said;

We wish you well beloved. God will heal you. You have fought this with success. With love you will win the fight.
