“Pastor Phiri Faces Relationship Challenges as New Partner Cites Concerns About His Lifestyle Choices”

Their close friends and family have been wishing his new relationship well. They were hoping is stands the test of time, unlike his marriage that ended with abuse, cheating allegations and an arrest after 19 years. But controversial Televangelist, Pastor Enoch Phiri and his new partner Thuli “Prophetess Nkosazana” Shenxane have also separated after a few months of being together.

 

ALCOHOLISM

 

Thuli tells ZiMoja that the troubled pastor promised to marry her, but she’s had to call off the relationship due to his “high appetite for women and alcohol.” “When I met him, he told me he stopped drinking alcohol after his divorce, which was some years ago. Like a fool-in-love, I believed him,” she says. “It was only later that I realised he was in too deep into alcohol. He is a heavy drinker and when he is drunk, he loves women.”

 

MULTIPLE WOMEN

 

Thuli accuses Pastor Phiri of being a “Casanova. He loves women. I have evidence to prove it. He has been cheating with a woman named, Gugu Shezi who told me she has been his side chick even when he was still married,” Thuli says. “I caught them together. He is also still sleeping with his ex-wife. But he does most of this when he is drunk which is most of the time,” she adds. Recently, a fight broke out between Pastor Phiri and Thuli. Reports state that the fight was due to Thuli’s insecurities and that he discovered she was married to another man. Pastor Phiri says he learned while travelling that Thuli was still married and had previously been married several other times. He learned this after a scorned ex-lover and Dr. Thabang exposed the news. In a recent vlog post titled “The rise of prostitute Prophetess… Prophetess Thuli” by Christian Commentator and Activist, Solomon Izang Ashoms, he believes women like Thuli are sinners and need to repent. “I am flabbergasted by the rise of women charlatans who call themselves prophetesses. There is no purity, love for righteousness, or fear of God in them. They are young and beautiful, slaying, wear wigs, and post pictures on social media,” he says. “They keep moving from one man to another. There is a group of them such as Prophetess Nkosazana Thuli. This is the fourth or fifth pastor she has had.”

 

LOCKING HIM OUT OF THE HOUSE

 

“I confirm that I locked him in the house because he was too drunk to drive,” she says. “Like any mature person, I stopped someone from drunk driving.” Thuli says, she initially went to his house to question him about a call she received from his alleged side chick, Gugu who claimed to have been his side chick for 10 years. “Unfortunately, when I got there, he was in a state that he could not even talk. He was beyond drunk he was wearing dirty clothes. He still wanted to leave the house and drive drunk to a tavern in Tembisa. That is when I took his phone, only to discover he is not only with this Gugu lady but also still sleeping with his ex-wife Busi, Gugu and another girl who is a Restoration House church member, and many other women who are threatening to expose him,” Thuli says. “He has a serious drinking addiction. I have personally reached out to many servants of God including Bishop Kelly who has tried to help. I called the office of Apostle Dineka but the PA could not get us an appointment. I have involved his mother, brother, the ex-wife of Bishop Duncan Williams, and mama Francis, but we have all failed. I have called rehab centres and they said they can only take him in if he gives consent.”

 

THE CRUMBLING CHURCH

 

Thuli says the pastor’s “bad boy” behaviour has affected his church, Restoration House Ministries in Soweto. There are about 20 congregants at the church,” she says. “He drinks so much that he can’t even get up early in the morning and attend service. Someone is running the church for him, and the church is crumbling.” Thuli says she has tried to help him. “But he is too far gone. I tried. He has been calling me, but when I left he had multiple women. I was willing to help him work on his alcohol problem, but everything is worse when he also cheats,” she says. “He has not been to his church restoration for a long time, he only goes twice in two months because of how girls threaten to come there and shame him.” Pastor Phiri could not be reached for comment.
