Jackie Phamotse Found Guilty Of Defamation Involving Former Miss SA Basetsana Kumalo
Controversial author Jackie Phamotse was found guilty in the Randburg magistrate’s court on Tuesday for a defamation case brought against her by former Miss SA and businesswoman Basetsana Kumalo.
Phamotse was found guilty of four counts of crimen injuria over a tweet she posted in 2018 regarding a s_exual video involving former Miss SA Basetsana Khumalo’s husband Romeo Khumalo, allegedly having s_ex with a male celebrity.
Sentencing expected to take place on 24 October.

Speaking after her victory, Basetsa Kumalo breathed a sigh of relief after a five-year protracted battle.
“This judgement is for all of us, it’s for my children who had to live in shame over the last five years and for my parents.”
Phamotse’s alleged post
In the tweet (now X), Phamotse alleged that there was a s_ex tape involving the Kumalos and a young rapper.
“Just overheard a painful conversation, a female TV mogul pleading with one of my girls to not share videos of her drunk and her husband [sic] rimming a celebrity boy!!!!!!!!! What the hell!!!! What kind of marriages do we have now!!! I have asked to see this video,” reads the offending tweet.

Exactly, the way women are pressed though…it shows that they would rather see Jackie stoned because the things she exposes they do. This woman has done a lot of great work for people to be celebrating like this especially women.
