Video shows Mbongeni Ngema’s last moments before dying

A touching video capturing Mbongeni Ngema’s last public appearance is circulating across social media.

Interestingly the video was taken at a funeral in Lusikisiki Eastern Cape on Wednesday. Tragically, Ngema lost his life in a head-on collision while returning from the very same funeral in Lusikisiki.

The video shared by seasoned journalist Sophie Mokoena on X (formerly Twitter), features Ngema addressing mourners.

In his poignant speech, Mbongeni Ngema emphasized the profound impact the departed individual had on his life. He recounted their initial meeting in New York, where she introduced him to her sister..

“Part of life is gone with her. I met her in New York when I was working with her sister. Her sister was looking after these children in New York and she said she wanted to introduce me to her sister. we became friends instantly,” he said.
