Two Women Found Dead At Kasi Kasi Mabvuku During New Year’s Celebrations

Two women were found dead in the wee hours of Monday, 1 January, at Kasi Kasi bar in Scott Sakupwanya’s constituency Mabvuku-Tafara.

Zimbabwe Rupblic Police confirmed the incident that left many in the area shocked.

According to the statement, the unfortunate incident took place at Kasi Kasi Bar in Tafara around 12:10 AM, amidst a vibrant New Year’s Eve celebration attended by a whopping 2000 people.

Initial reports suggest that the road leading to Kamunhu Shopping Centre and Tafara suburb was blocked due to a large crowd and haphazardly parked vehicles.

The Police who were summoned to the scene faced challenges in controlling the situation due to poor lighting. At approximately 3:00 AM, an informant alerted them about a crowd and the presence of three women near Kasi Kasi Bar, situated along the main road connecting Mabvuku and Tafara.
