Inside Billionaire Strive Masiyiwa Daughter’s Wedding to SA Bae

Zimbabwean billionaire Strive Masiyiwa walked his daughter Tanya down the aisle at her grand wedding recently.

Tanya Masiyiwa recently tied the knot with her South African partner, Lethabo Molobi. The wedding was a grand affair and quite opulent.

The couple’s Western wedding followed their traditional ceremony on 23 December 2023 in South Africa. The couple were surrounded by their family and friends.

Tanya and Lethabo’s Western wedding was a page out of a fairy tale. Lethabo donned a sleek suit with a white jacket, while Tanya looked like a majestic princess in a white gown.

At the ceremony, Lethabo waited for his beautiful bride and her father, billionaire Strive Masiyiwa, strutted with her down the aisle. Masiyiwa’s face radiated with joy as he gave away his baby girl to the love of her life.

The lovers exchanged vows and kissed passionately to the cheers of guests.

The guests then proceeded to the reception and they partied a storm. Tanya, Lethabo and the wedding party entertained them with fun dance moves. Later, globally acclaimed spinners Major League DJs kept people on their feet. Watch a video of the wedding below.

Tanya and Lethabo met at the University of Cape Town, where they studied social sciences. They dated for over two years before getting engaged in October 2023.

Lethabo is a biokineticist, a founder of The Medics, a board member of the Biokinetics Association of South Africa, and a former professional basketball player. He has also worked as a medic and physiotherapist for renowned cricketers in the Indian Premier League.

Tanya is a humanitarian and social entrepreneur passionate about empowering young people and women in Africa. She is the founder and executive director of Emerging Leaders Foundation, a non-profit organisation that provides leadership training and mentorship to young Africans. She is also the co-founder of Simba Education, a social enterprise that delivers quality early childhood education through technology.
