One of car thieves caught by CID in Zimbabwe is a popular SA-based prophet
In a surprising turn of events that cast doubt on some people who call themselves men of God, a South African-based prophet was among the three criminals who stole a car in Kuwadzana and were caught.
Prophet Lincoln Tichaona Fero (29) connived with his two accomplices, lnnocent Chigwaza (40), Johannes Matema (28) to steal a car in Kuwadzana.

Prophet Lincoln is renowned for predicting future events that take place in other countries.
The trio successfully took away the car and parked it at a house belonging to one of them.
However, they were not aware that the car had a tracker. The owner, working with the Zimbabwe Republic Police and the vehicle tracking company, trailed the vehicle to the thieves’ house.
Detectives successfully apprehended the criminals in the midst of stripping the car of spare parts. They were subsequently made to lie down and bashed thoroughly.
Video of the incident circulated widely on social media with Zimbabweans applauding the swiftness of CID police in catching the criminals.
Police confirmed the incident:
“ZRP reports that lnnocent Chigwaza (40), Johannes Matema (28) and Lincoln Tichaona Fero (29) were arrested in connection with a case of theft of a motor vehicle which occurred in Kuwadzana 3 on 23/01/24 in which a Nissan Atlas motor vehicle was stolen. The stolen motor vehicle was tracked and recovered at the suspect’s place of residence.”
