Skeem Saam Actress Amanda Manku’s Father Confesses Ordering Hit On His Mother-In-Law
In a shocking turn of events, the father of Skeem Saam actress Amanda Manku, William Manku, has confessed to masterminding a wicked plot and ordering the hit that led to the double murder of his mother-in-law, Lettie Maphuthuma, and his wife, Gladys Manku. Manku previously served in the police service for 31 years.

Manku, along with his accomplices, including his police officer girlfriend, Nonhlanhla Ngubo, appeared before the Magatle Magistrates Court in Zebediela, Limpopo, where the disturbing details of the case came to light.

During the court proceedings, the investigating officer revealed Manku’s chilling confession. She recounted,
“He said that he was looking for a person to kill his mother-in-law… He then pointed to his mother-in-law’s house, and they returned to Gauteng. The hitmen came back on their own as he had given them instructions to kill his mother-in-law.”
While the Skeem Saam actress’ father has admitted to his involvement, the case has been fraught with conflicting accounts and a history of domestic violence.
The investigating officer highlighted Manku’s previous run-ins with the law, citing two assault cases opened by his late wife, shedding light on a tumultuous relationship marred by violence.
Despite the severity of the charges and the damning evidence presented, Manku and Ngubo have applied for bail, a move contested vehemently by the state. Accused number one, Khoza, however, has abandoned his bail application, indicating the gravity of the situation.
Their case has been postponed to the 1st of February for the continuation of bail applications.
