It’s no secret that Meek Mill and Diddy have been friends for a long time. But lately, there have been rumors that their relationship is more than just friendship.
The rumors started when the two were spotted holding hands at a party. Then, they were seen kissing at a nightclub. And most recently, they were caught on camera spending the night together at a hotel.
Meek Mill has been trending on X because of the legal documents that allege Diddy had sεxual relations with a rapper from Philadelphia who dated Nicki Minaj. That narrows down the list to pretty much him. As soon as he started going viral on the internet, Mill came out to publicly reveal he was dropping music soon. But the world had no idea how soon it would be.

X users quickly pointed out the obvious as Meek Mill wanted to distance himself from the allegations. He tried to sell the idea he is not gay without getting the point and by missing a major opportunity to make a real statement.
Mill tries to ‘defend’ black culture with his claims without addressing the actual elephant in the room. The hip-hop industry or at least a giant part of it thinks homosexuality is wrong.
That is why many black artists have to hide behind a facade and sadly, this week’s actions confirm the stigma is alive and well within the hip-hop community. Mill can spin the narrative all he wants but what he claims is not the real issue here. He is only perpetuating the systemic issue that is homophobia. Even if he isn’t gay, Meek Mill is missing the point.
