Cassper Nyovest dispels wedding rumours

For the past few days, Mzansi believed tha, “Cassper Nyovest is getting married.” Strangely, it seems the South African rapper is unaware of that development himself. He laughs about the fast-spreading rumours of tying the knot with his childhood friend, Pulane, on his social media timelines.

CASSPER NYOVEST INVITED TO HIS OWN “WEDDING”

The public speculation peaked when a purported wedding invitation began making rounds on social media, declaring a March 16 union between the two. You just gotta love South Africans; they were actually inviting Cassper Nyovest to his own “wedding.”

Cassper, however, took to his socials to address the hearsay with a good dose of his signature humour.

“Akere lea nyadisa ebile you’re inviting me to my own wedding? Leng tlhopela date le venue? Le hectic!” The multi-award-winning musician commented under his own post of a wedding-related meme.

This is directly translated to say: “Are you joking? You’re inviting me to my own wedding? Why choose a date and venue? It’s hectic!”

Speaking of developments in the rapper’s life, earlier in February, Cassper cleared up the air about the current status of his relationship with the mother of his child, Thobeka, during a candid interview with podcaster Mpoomy Ledwaba.

According to him, they had broken up two years ago.

He minced no words in condemning his past behaviour as he admitted to hurting her. The reason he gave for this was what he plainly described as promiscuity.

“I hurt my baby mama so much. We broke up. I’ve been single for two years, by the way. We broke up because I hurt her. And then I just carried on living this life. She got saved, which is so beautiful, but then it became more hectic because now she is looking at me like: ‘This is the father of my child?’” he said.

Outside of this confession, the world is still mostly left in the dark about the dynamics of their relationship, as they both like to keep their private lives private.
