There is currently an investigation into a shooting that took place at Canadian rapper Drake’s large mansion in the upscale Bridle Path neighbourhood.
The incident happened around 2:10 a.m. near the corner of Bayview and Lawrence Avenues.
Although the police have not released any further details about the case, a police source reported that the victim was a security guard at Drake’s home.
Apparently, he was shot in a drive-by attack and sustained a gunshot wound to his upper chest, rendering him unconscious.

The victim was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. Meanwhile, the police have cordoned off the rapper’s home, and there is heavy police presence in the area.
Drake is currently engaged in several high-profile disputes with other rappers and musicians, most notably with Kendrick Lamar. This week, both released tracks that contained unfounded allegations and insults against each other.
