Forensic evidence links Kelly Khumalo to Senzo Meyiwa’s death

The Pretoria High Court presented forensic evidence linking singer Kelly Khumalo to the Senzo Meyiwa murder case.

According to Pinky Vythilingam, a forensic liaison supervisor at Vodacom, Khumalo registered a cellphone number connected to one of the accused individuals.

The testimony detailed specific calls allegedly made by one of the accused individuals to Khumalo, providing call durations and timestamps.

It was also revealed that on the night of Meyiwa’s murder, cellphone records indicate that Khumalo, Meyiwa, and Chicco Twala’s numbers were all detected at the same tower in Spruitview and Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg, between 7 pm and 8 pm.

The evidence presented aimed to refute claims made by the defence regarding the authenticity of the information.

This development raises questions about Khumalo’s involvement in the events leading to Meyiwa’s death, as the pursuit of justice in this high-profile case continues.
