It’s well known that Makhadzi embarked on her musical journey at a young age, initially performing at taxi ranks before ultimately achieving fame. Despite facing numerous challenges, she has generously allocated millions of her earnings to support her immediate family.

Her woes were first reported in 2023 and rumour mill had it that Sars was targeting her property portfolio after it was reported that she owes the taxman a whopping R6 million in unpaid taxes.

However, Makhadzi later reached an agreement with Sars to pay the outstanding debt in monthly instalments. Confirmed reports also state that it was reduced to R2.7 million.

Well, against the trends, The South African has connected the dots about Makhadzi’s houses, which were reportedly targeted by Sars. At the age of 28, Makhadzi reportedly owns not one, not two, but the lush houses dotted around the country.

In 2021, Makhadzi hogged headlines when she fulfilled her childhood dream by purchasing her dream mansion. Confirmed reports have it that she bought the lush mansion for a whooping R4 million.

Against the purchase, she posted on X, “The first time I entered my house, I took this picture. My dream came true, and I am proud of myself. I built my grandmother a house just because my mom and father separated. I decided not to choose but to build them two different houses. Now I bought MY OWN HOUSE!”
